COUTURE FOR A CAUSE RETURNS TO YORKVILLE FOR ITS THIRD ANNUAL FASHION SHOW

The Bloor-Yorkville Runway Takes Over Cumberland Street on July 22, 2026

TORONTO, ON - Hairdressers for Love & Peace Foundation and presenting partner MAC Show Systems announce the return of the 3rd Annual Couture for a Cause Yorkville Fashion Show, taking place on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 on Cumberland Street in the heart of Yorkville. This year's event is a tribute to the late 1960s, the era that made Yorkville the cultural heartbeat of Canada, reimagined through modern couture fashion, world-class hair artistry, live music, and Yorkville's finest cuisine, all in support of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) with a fundraising goal of $150,000.

A Yorkville Street Celebration, Everyone Welcome

Cumberland Street comes alive for everyone on July 22nd. The fashion show is free to the public, large screens will be set up along the street so the whole neighbourhood can take in the runway. Ticketed guests enjoy reserved front-row seating along the Bloor-Yorkville Runway, proudly sponsored by Bloor-Yorkville BIA, within a dedicated event area where complimentary cocktails and a curated food and drink experience await.

Following the show, the event area opens up to the public, welcoming everyone to join the Cumberland Street celebration with live DJs, drinks, and the energy of a true Yorkville street party until 10:00 PM. Additional restaurant pop-up booths will also be on-site throughout the evening, with more partners to be announced.

The Evening

Doors open at 5:00 PM. VIP guests and runway ticket holders will be welcomed with a complimentary cocktail and the sounds of Jake Koffman and his Jazz Band, honouring the spirit of late 1960s Yorkville, followed by a special performance by Stella Leonetti. As the evening builds, DJ M-Kutz, presented by PAROS, takes over, carrying the energy through the fashion show and into the street party that follows.

At 6:00 PM, sixty models take to the Bloor-Yorkville Runway in an uninterrupted, immersive fashion presentation unlike anything else in the city.

Six Canadian Designers. Six Yorkville Salons.

At the heart of Couture for a Cause is a belief that fashion and beauty are most powerful when a community comes together. Each of the six participating designers has been paired with a Yorkville hair salon, who will open their doors as the creative home base for the day, hosting the designer's models, overseeing all hair and styling, and bringing their own artistry to the runway. (Order of appearance subject to change.)

The VIP Experience

Following the runway, VIP ticket holders will be treated to an intimate post-show dinner in the Village of Yorkville Park, before the evening continues with exclusive after-parties at two of Yorkville's most celebrated destinations.

The evening begins with a signature welcome drink and caviar-inspired hors d'oeuvres from Powder Room, before guests are seated to enjoy signature dishes by Sassafraz, Nervosa, and COCO Espresso Bar, and a main course proudly presented by PAROS, all reflecting the best of Yorkville's culinary scene.

When dinner concludes, two exclusive after-parties, one at PAROS, one at Powder Room, open their doors to VIP guests, letting the evening end exactly where Yorkville does it best.
